What Are The Things That Hurt Our Eyes?

God has given us eyes through which we can see this beautiful world. Eyes also helps us in doing all the tasks that we have to do on daily basis. It is a great blessing from God, so we have to be a bit extra caring in handling the eyes. If once we lose our eyes and have some issues related to even vision then it will keep on increasing the issue but never resolved.

There are many factors apart from the natural issues that eyes face through the lapse of time hurt the eyes. We need to avoid all such things in order to protect and keep our eyes safe for long period of time.

Following are the things that technically hurt our eyes.

  • Sleeping in Contact Lens:

We have seen many people who like to wear contact lenses in formal and family gatherings. They like to be tension free from the frame that they have all the time. It happens that when they come back from an event, they forgot to take the lens off, when we sleep with lens, they break into pieces in the eyes and causes worst infection. There are chances that we can lose eyesight.

  • Rubbing Eyes with Dirty Hands:

We have seen young kids, adults and sometimes youngsters as well that they have a habit of rubbing their eyes intentionally or unintentionally. Our hands are not always clean and tidy. Most of the time when we are out, we couldn’t get a chance to wash or sanitise our hands properly. When we rub our eyes with dirty and messy hands, they start itching because bacteria get into our eyes. We have to see an eye surgeon in Cheltenham at any cost.

  • Eye Makeup:

It is a habit of all the girls that they sleep with their makeup on. There are many harmful chemicals are being added in cosmetics while making it especially the eye liner and mascaras. The black ink melts into the eyes and the chemical gets into our eyes while sleeping if we had not taken the cosmetic off before sleeping. It also causes infection. The infection is so bad.

  • Screen time in Night:

Another thing that hurt our eyes is long screen time in night time. When we turn off all the lights and enjoy using phone or computer while watching movie, that time we are just enjoying without analysing the consequences. So, we have to be vigilant in doing that so.
